Ormond Junior Football Club, in partnership with A Path To Follow (a local mental well-being initiative), offers a free program that leverages off young players’ common passion for football to introduce the concept of mentoring (via coaching), building relationships within the club and community, and promotes kids’ mental health and wellbeing.
A Path To Follow Sporting Peer Program at Ormond has Junior Coaching Spots available for Season 2021 across varied age groups, from Auskick to Under 15s.
The Program:
keeps kids connected to community and contributes to the prevention and early intervention of mental wellbeing challenges.
supports the development of personal skills important to a young person’s role within their sporting setting and in life.
supports existing coaches and leaders to mentor younger club members to develop skills in coaching and in life.
A Path To Follow Sporting Peer Program at Ormond has Junior Coaching Spots available for Season 2021 across varied age groups, from Auskick to Under 15s.
Each team is allocated 2 Junior Coaches. Junior Coaches participate in trainings and game day roles (as available).
